Mid-Blue is the international events arm of Spice Serve, a Tokyo based company specialising in cruises and parties. In order to reach foreigners in Japan Mid-Blue need its site to appeal to them on the devices that most young expats use, smart phones. Mid-Blue wanted a site that was lively and colourful and most in-line with their brand image. They chose Rain Interactive because we proposed a site that was cross-device, cross browser, and tweaked for SEO results.
In addition, Mid-Blue wanted a bilingual site that their internal marketing department would find easy to use. For these reasons we went with Drupal because it is fully customizable from the front and back end.
Mid-Blue’s Japanese and foreign staff are constantly updating the site with events and news, all of which is pushed to social media automatically.
