Golf Club Japan is a golfing community initiative built by Rain to compensate for the closing down of a community used Golf site. Initially filling the void with a temporary site, we finally had enough time to develop a more functional and well designed site to serve the needs of international golfers in Japan. The site allows members to create their own events and invite the community to join them on their golfing escapades! We decided to show where events were taking place visually on a giant golf course map as well as a calendar so members could see what is happening around them.
GCJ is a continuing project with more features being baked in the next time we have space to develop it further!
